The night began to creep in slowly at first. The shadows grew longer from the corners, the light couldn't fight it off as long. Even the world around you started to darken: yellow leaves turning brown, greenery being replaced by purple hues, your dark sweaters appearing where your airy t-shirts once were.
The sun used to set after dinner, you still remember.
Now, the sun has left before you get home. Earth is so quick to turn these days. Shorter bursts of daylight.
The creep of darkening days is taking over.
Darkening Days is the next colorway of our An Ode to Late Autumn collection.
This colorway is a blend of purple, fuchsia, and hints of Cabernet in colors from light to dark.
Information on the base:

All skeins are hand-dyed with care in a smoke-free and pet-free home. Please note that while all skeins are dyed together, every skein of yarn is unique and there may be some slight variation between them. After dyeing, all yarn is washed and rinsed thoroughly, however, a small amount of color bleeding may still occur during the first wash.
For best care, please gently hand wash in cold water with a wool wash and lay flat to dry. Store yarn in an area away from direct sunlight to help maintain color.
This yarn is READY TO SHIP.
All photographs are taken in natural light, and I try to keep the editing to a minimum, but colors may vary from monitor to monitor.
The wool used in this yarn is ethically produced from sheep that have NOT been mulesed.
