The journey from your home feels like a haze. You can’t remember how you got there or the route you took, but suddenly you are standing at the edge of a forest.
Before you is a trail, thin and barely there. Even when you squint you aren’t sure if it’s a trail or just a break in the woods. The trees that line the front of the woods loom into the overcast sky. But as you look into the forest, it would appear to be a different place altogether. The greens emit a glow that suggest the sun is shining within. Which can’t be if it’s gloomy out where you are, can it?
Hesitation starts to climb up your spine. Maybe this isn’t what you should be doing. Who just packs a suitcase and leaves anyway? Certainly not you. But, when you lift your foot to step away, you find yourself leaning forward and instead step into the woods. Both of your feet land with a thunk, and you look down to see your feet wrapped in well-loved hiking boots. Did you have them on before? Did you even own hiking boots?
Quickly after those thoughts, another one chimes in, does it matter? And no, maybe it doesn’t. Because now the path before you is clear, the sun is peaking through the tree canopy, and the birds are all singing a merry tune. So you begin to trek deeper into the forest before you.

All skeins are hand-dyed with care in a smoke-free and pet-free home. The dyestuff used is natural dyes either foraged or sourced from sustainable and ethically produced companies. Please note that while all skeins are dyed together, every skein of yarn is unique and there may be some slight variation between them. After dyeing, all yarn is washed and rinsed thoroughly, however, a small amount of color bleeding may still occur during the first wash.

For best care, please gently hand wash in cold water with a wool wash and lay flat to dry. Store yarn in an area away from direct sunlight to help maintain color.

This yarn is READY TO SHIP.

All photographs are taken in natural light, and I try to keep the editing to a minimum, but colors may vary from monitor to monitor.

The wool used in this yarn is ethically produced from sheep that have NOT been mulesed.
