Goodbye Reality

The world around you is heavy and there’s a better one calling your name. You don’t know your destination, not exactly. In your head, it’s whispered to you as the Cottage. But when you think of it, there is peace and serenity, joy and laughter. You know you must go.  

  

You pull out an old suitcase and hastily pack it with clothes you think will work for a summer at a cottage. You grab a few books and personal things and, with a few pushes, get the suitcase closed.  

  

You check around you once more, but don’t feel drawn to take much else with you. You send out a few texts, letting people know they won’t be able to reach you for a while but not to worry. Then, before second guessing yourself, you put the phone on the kitchen counter and walk outside.  

  

𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐛𝐲𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, the first colorway in our To the Cottage Collection, is a saturated and bright colorway that represents the newness of an adventure along with the noise of the every day. It’s a minty green mixed with a fuchsia-like pink, some yellow and a small speckle of black.

DK Weight, 85% Superwash Merino (Extra Fine) 15% Nylon, 4-ply, 246 yards // 100 grams

 

All skeins are hand-dyed with care in a smoke-free and pet-free home. Please note that while all skeins are dyed together, every skein of yarn is unique and there may be some slight variation between them. After dyeing, all yarn is washed and rinsed thoroughly, however, a small amount of color bleeding may still occur during the first wash. 

For best care, please gently hand wash in cold water with a wool wash and lay flat to dry. Store yarn in an area away from direct sunlight to help maintain color. 

All photographs are taken in natural light, and I try to keep the editing to a minimum, but colors may vary from monitor to monitor. 

The wool used in this yarn is ethically produced from sheep that have NOT been mulesed.
