2023 Poison Berry Collection

Introducing the 2023 Poison Berry colorways.

These three colorways are all dyed from pokeberry. It is a once a year dye pot that I am excited to share with you.

These are priced a little higher than my normal colorways because of the extensive amount of time and effort these take.

A note for care on these skeins. They take a high amount of acid to set, and do not like alkaline liquids, so things like dish soap can strip the color. Also, these have been heavily rinsed but they can leech some color in the soak.

This is always one of my biggest challenges of the year and I hope you’ll enjoy them as much as I do.

Information on the base:

Fingering Weight, 85% Superwash Merino (Extra Fine) 15% Nylon, 4-ply, 437 yards // 100 grams

All skeins are hand-dyed with care in a smoke-free and pet-free home. The dyestuff used is natural dyes either foraged or sourced from sustainable and ethically produced companies. Please note that while all skeins are dyed together, every skein of yarn is unique and there may be some slight variation between them. After dyeing, all yarn is washed and rinsed thoroughly, however, a small amount of color bleeding may still occur during the first wash.

For best care, please gently hand wash in cold water with a wool wash and lay flat to dry. Store yarn in an area away from direct sunlight to help maintain color.

The wool used in this yarn is ethically produced from sheep that have NOT been mulesed.
