PREORDER Reading by Candlelight

A thunderstorm has made its way across the land this night. You have the windows open, letting in the breeze before the rain gets heavy. The curtains dance on the breeze, the trees sway outside, their leaves adding to the evening’s symphony. 

You gather up pillows and blankets and make a little nest. You grab a book and a handful of candles to scatter around your nest. 

As the small flickers of light begin to glow, the storm starts pushing its way to you. You settle into the blankets and cozy up against the pillows before picking up your book. 

As the storm rages on outside in the night, you find yourself getting lost in time, reading by candlelight. 

Reading by Candlelight is an homage to a favorite cozy pastime, this colorway has a creamy worn book color base with splashes of mauve, a light brown, and a dark purple red to represent the worn sweater or blanket you wear and the book’s cover, and a little gold for the candlelight.

Fingering Weight, 85% Superwash Merino (Extra Fine) 15% Nylon, 4-ply, 437 yards // 100 grams

Worsted Weight, 85% Superwash Merino (Extra Fine) 15% Nylon, 4-ply, 196 yards // 100 grams

All skeins are hand-dyed with care in a smoke-free and pet-free home. Please note that while all skeins are dyed together, every skein of yarn is unique and there may be some slight variation between them. After dyeing, all yarn is washed and rinsed thoroughly, however, a small amount of color bleeding may still occur during the first wash. 

For best care, please gently hand wash in cold water with a wool wash and lay flat to dry. Store yarn in an area away from direct sunlight to help maintain color.

The wool used in this yarn is ethically produced from sheep that have NOT been mulesed.
