PREORDER Luna Moth

The time is just after midnight and you find yourself sitting outside bathing in the nighttime air. The world around you is quiet, you can hear small noises in the distance that soothe you, such as the hush of grass and the whisper of leaves. 

A fluttering begins in the sky, gentle mint wings bright against the night thanks to the moon. Luna moths have come out this evening. They dance around each other, swirling and diving, fluttering to a stop on occasion. 

One lands on your thigh. You still as you watch it rest it’s large wings again your skin. It stays still for a breathe before fluttering off into the dark once more. 

Luna Moth is a soft mint hue that represents the wings of one of the largest North American moths. 

Information on the base: 

Fingering Weight, 85% Superwash Merino (Extra Fine) 15% Nylon, 4-ply, 437 yards // 100 grams

Worsted Weight, 85% Superwash Merino (Extra Fine) 15% Nylon, 4-ply, 196 yards // 100 grams

All skeins are hand-dyed with care in a smoke-free and pet-free home. Please note that while all skeins are dyed together, every skein of yarn is unique and there may be some slight variation between them. After dyeing, all yarn is washed and rinsed thoroughly, however, a small amount of color bleeding may still occur during the first wash. 

For best care, please gently hand wash in cold water with a wool wash and lay flat to dry. Store yarn in an area away from direct sunlight to help maintain color.

The wool used in this yarn is ethically produced from sheep that have NOT been mulesed.
