Day Hike

The mountains are calling and you must go to them. Your backpack is ready for a day adventure, your hiking boots are tied, and you've finished breakfast. The morning is still young and the trail is decorated with dew. 

The thick green of summer in the forest is lush but not oppressive as you hike. There are birds singing and small ground creatures chattering and running around. You can hear more than you can see but it helps you to feel welcome into the woods nonetheless. 

As the trail winds through, a clearing opens ahead. Sunlight is greeting you, beckoning you to step into its golden rays. You step out of the woods and stop short. There's a lake not fifteen feet in front of you. It feels like a safe haven, a miniature paradise no one has discovered but you. There are miles left to go on the hike, but for now, you decide that this is the perfect place for a break. 

Day Hike is the next tonal reveal of our Happy Camper Collection. It is a wonderful medium teal color that embraces the life of a hike in the woods.

All skeins are hand-dyed with care in a smoke-free and pet-free home. Please note that while all skeins are dyed together, every skein of yarn is unique and there may be some slight variation between them. After dyeing, all yarn is washed and rinsed thoroughly, however, a small amount of color bleeding may still occur during the first wash.  

For best care, please gently hand wash in cold water with a wool wash and lay flat to dry. Store yarn in an area away from direct sunlight to help maintain color.
