"Campfires and marshmallows: the simple pleasures that make camping unforgettable." ~ Unknown

Whether it's a freshly started fire or burnt down logs and bright red coals, there is something enchanting about a campfire.

The sway of flames and the heat that keeps you dancing back and forth from the fire pit doesn't get old each day at camp. There's a fire in the morning, on most days, to help you make breakfast and to heat up that delicious camp coffee. Then, after a long day of relaxation and adventure, the evening fire helps you make dinner as well as to enjoy those yummy s'mores for dessert.

Deep into the dark of the night, the fire dims as you stop adding fresh wood to it. You can see the stars above as you rest your head back on the chair. It gives enough heat to stay warm by, but it doesn't drown out those glistening twinklers that decorate the night sky with constellations. It's also the perfect amount of light to tell a ghost story or two before everyone slips off into their tents for bed.

Campfire is the last variegated reveal of our Happy Camper Collection. This colorway is a blend of dark gray, light brown, red, and an array of speckles featuring black, red, orange, and yellow. My goal was to give the feel of a fire that has burned for some time, so it's full of ash and coals along with the fresh wood and playful flames.

Skein Shortened: 85/15 Sock : Fingering Weight, 85% Superwash Merino (Extra Fine) 15% Nylon, 4-ply, 428 yards // 98 grams

All skeins are hand-dyed with care in a smoke-free and pet-free home. Please note that while all skeins are dyed together, every skein of yarn is unique and there may be some slight variation between them. After dyeing, all yarn is washed and rinsed thoroughly, however, a small amount of color bleeding may still occur during the first wash.

For best care, please gently hand wash in cold water with a wool wash and lay flat to dry. Store yarn in an area away from direct sunlight to help maintain color.

This yarn is READY TO SHIP.

All photographs are taken in natural light, and I try to keep the editing to a minimum, but colors may vary from monitor to monitor.

The wool used in this yarn is ethically produced from sheep that have NOT been mulesed.
