Camp Coffee

There's something different about camp coffee. Brewed in a percolator over the campfire, you wait amongst the dew and fog of the morning for the coffee to be ready. While watching the tiny glass top, you think of your grandpa and the stories about how he made the best camp coffee. 

"His coffee was so strong, you had to chew it," your mom would say in a wistful tone. "We always joked that it could be hair on your chest." 

A smile comes to your face at the memory. As the coffee in the percolator darkens, you let it sit a little longer, hoping to make your grandpa proud by how strong you made the coffee. 

At last, your need for caffeine wins out and you grab the soft yellow mug that you claimed during your camping trip and pour yourself a cup. The hot steam of the coffee dances above you like the smoke of the fire. It takes a couple minutes for the coffee to be of drinkable temperature, and once it is, you take a sip. It's gloriously strong but it tastes perfect. This is how you properly start the day at camp. 

Camp Coffee is the final reveal of the Happy Camper Collection. This tonal is a gentle and creamy soft yellow reminiscent of the coffee mugs and kettles one uses at camp.

All skeins are hand-dyed with care in a smoke-free and pet-free home. Please note that while all skeins are dyed together, every skein of yarn is unique and there may be some slight variation between them. After dyeing, all yarn is washed and rinsed thoroughly, however, a small amount of color bleeding may still occur during the first wash.  

For best care, please gently hand wash in cold water with a wool wash and lay flat to dry. Store yarn in an area away from direct sunlight to help maintain color.
