You've been waiting for this. Finally, after weeks of planning and daydreaming at work of being out in nature instead of trapped in your stuffy office, the time has arrived.

You set off at an early hour, the sun barely painting the night sky with light. The coffee pot was set on a timer the night before, just to be ready for you when you woke up. The usual groggy fog that settles over you in the waking hour before work is surprisingly missing, replaced with a childlike excitement for the day and week ahead. 

The car is packed. It's time to go! With a coffee in hand, you set off on your much needed adventure. The drive goes smoothly for the most part, and even the hiccups of bad traffic and construction (why is there always construction?) can't even ruin your mood. The music is perfect and everyone's good moods stay locked in place. 

After anticipating this moment for so long, you have arrived at your destination. The moment you step out of the car and breathe in the fresh air around you that smells decidedly green, a wave of calm envelopes over you. There is no work tomorrow. There are no appointments to stress you out. There's just this, the here and now. There's just... camp. 

There's a glorious flurry of action as Base Camp is set up and everything is unpacked from the car. It is the last thing in the way of the rest, relaxation, and adventure ahead of you. Once this is done, everything else will settle into place. 

By the time Base Camp is complete you've already gotten your first mosquito bite (right, where is that bug spray again?) but it doesn't matter. You're already one happy camper. 

Base Camp is the first reveal of our Happy Camper Collection. This tonal is a bright red-orange hue that always finds its way into your camping gear. Whether on its own or with a complementary color, its cheeriness will always put a smile on your face.

85/15 Sock : Fingering Weight, 85% Superwash Merino (Extra Fine) 15% Nylon, 4-ply, 437 yards // 100 grams

Silk Sock : Fingering Weight, 75% Superwash Merino (Extra Fine) 25% Mulberry Silk, 4-ply, 437 yards // 100 grams

Sport Weight, 100% Superwash Merino (Extra Fine), 4-ply, 328 yards // 100 grams

DK Weight, 85% Superwash Merino (Extra Fine) 15% Nylon, 4-ply, 246 yards // 100 grams

Worsted Weight, 85% Superwash Merino (Extra Fine) 15% Nylon, 4-ply, 196 yards // 100 grams

All skeins are hand-dyed with care in a smoke-free and pet-free home. Please note that while all skeins are dyed together, every skein of yarn is unique and there may be some slight variation between them. After dyeing, all yarn is washed and rinsed thoroughly, however, a small amount of color bleeding may still occur during the first wash.  

For best care, please gently hand wash in cold water with a wool wash and lay flat to dry. Store yarn in an area away from direct sunlight to help maintain color.

The wool used in this yarn is ethically produced from sheep that have NOT been mulesed.
