As you crest the staircase, the sun blinds you, forcing you to throw up a hand in front of your eyes. You stumble forward, unable to see the last few steps. Your feet hit the top and soft grass cradles your toes. Once you have your balance, you lower your hand to look about.
Your breath catches as you stare at the picture perfect meadow you have just entered. The sky is an almost cerulean blue, with cheery, fluffy clouds and the warm sun greeting you.
The meadow is filled with wildflowers, beckoning you to run through them with outstretched arms. The gentle scent from the flowers rides along on a sweet breeze that helps make the weather absolutely perfect.
A part of you knows you are truly someplace else now. You’ve stepped into a new time or plane. This is a new world, untouched by hatred or pollution. And you just know there’s not a single tick waiting for you in this tall grass.
With a smile stretching your lips, a laugh bubbles from your throat and you take off running into the meadow.
A New World is a traditionally dyed fingering weight yarn made up of bright yellow and sky blue with peaks of purple, pink, and a hint of green.
Information on the base:
Fingering Weight, 85% Superwash Merino (Extra Fine) 15% Nylon, 4-ply, 437 yards // 100 grams
All skeins are hand-dyed with care in a smoke-free and pet-free home. Please note that while all skeins are dyed together, every skein of yarn is unique and there may be some slight variation between them. After dyeing, all yarn is washed and rinsed thoroughly, however, a small amount of color bleeding may still occur during the first wash.
For best care, please gently hand wash in cold water with a wool wash and lay flat to dry. Store yarn in an area away from direct sunlight to help maintain color.
This yarn is READY TO SHIP.
All photographs are taken in natural light, and I try to keep the editing to a minimum, but colors may vary from monitor to monitor.
The wool used in this yarn is ethically produced from sheep that have NOT been mulesed.
